The Hope’s Song

Dying isn’t the end, but the beginning of a great life for those who believes in Jesus as the way to God.

I love the idea of the message of this song from Veggie Tales

THE HOPE SONG

There’s a story that started on Christmas
When a baby was born in the night
And those who came far who followed the star
We’re seeing a heavenly sight
A heavenly sight

Well, the years hurried by and the boy, now a man
Could make the blind see with a touch of His hand
He was born to be King, He was Rabbi and Priest
But the best that He had, He gave to the least
He gave to the least

He was born and He died, almost 2,000 years ago
He laughed and He cried, He felt all the fears we know
But what does it matter? A story so strange
Even if it is true, what does it change?
What does it change?

Though He spoke like a prophet, like no one they’d heard
This simple young carpenter, crowds hung on every word
He hated injustice, He taught what is right
He said, I’m the way and the truth and the light

His friends soon believed that truly He was the one
The Savior, Messiah, God’s one and only Son
But others they doubted, they did not agree
So they took Him, they tried Him
He died on a tree, He died on a tree

God has made a way
For all who mourn and grieve
Death will never be the end
If you just believe

God has made a way
For all who mourn and grieve
Death will never be the end
If you just believe

There is nothing left to fear
Nothing Heaven knows
For He died for us to give us life
And to give us hope He rose

But what does it matter? A story so strange
Even if it is true, what does it change?
What does it change?

Yes, what does it change? It changes YOU/ ME. In the story where this song came from, the HOPE the people had on the resurrection of Jesus changed everything. People helped others, they sacrificed and risked their lives for others without fear of losing their lives. Why? Because of that hope, that whatever happens to them, they will be with the father in heaven. No selfishness, just love for others, the way they have been shown unconditional love and forgiveness, they show to others so that all people, no matter what they have done, will receive forgiveness and have the way to the Father in heaven. =)

God has made a way
For all who mourn and grieve
Death will never be the end
If you just believe

I saw this song in one of the videos my sons were watching. The song and the message of the song is catchy. This is the HOPE that everyone who believes in Jesus has.

The sufferings here on earth are just temporary. God is love. He provided a life where we can happily live with him forever.

The punishment for our sins is death-eternal suffering, a life without God forever. That is not where God wanted us to stay. He had to make a way, and he did it with great wisdom. He sacrificed his son Jesus, a pure and holy sacrifice.  The only sacrifice worthy to redeem every person who has sinned/ sins/ and will sin. This is the hope that the cross gave. When Jesus died on the cross, even death could not contain his greatness and power- because he has overcome it.

Hope was given to those who believe; that they will have a way to God and endure the present sufferings because the FUTURE that awaits those who received Jesus is FAR TOO GREAT. Just like a man enduring everything for the woman he loves. Waiting lovingly, enjoying every sacrifice knowing that being with the person he loves forever is worth all the sacrifices. So we wait in expectancy, with joy in our hearts. Knowing that one day, there won’t be any tears in our eyes…just pure joy in God’s presence.

  1. It’s truly amazing how anything that seems too “dark” and “ugly” in our mortal eyes can be turned by God into something beautiful. 🙂
