Clark Quay is a riverside place packed with many people in the evening, especially during weekends. So, what can one see there? Well, there are many restaurants of different cuisines, Christmas bazaars and shops. Since it’s Christmas time, the place is lined with gorgeous lights and decorations. The place looks so alive with all the sounds from restaurants and live bands playing songs. There’s also a boat ride where you’ll be given a tour to popular destinations in Singapore like Raffles Landing Site, Esplanade, and Theaters on the Bay. Cost is 22$ for adults, and 12$ for children.
My college friend, who works there, gave us a tour to the place. There’s this popular 1$ ice cream, that every tourist should try. =) It’s an ice cream block cut into smaller blocks wrapped in vanilla wafer, a sandwich bread, or both! =) It’s not that sweet, that’s why even my husband who’s not a fan of ice cream loved it.
