Heroines in Disguise

They wake up early in the morning
They prepare everyone’s meals and things
Their cups of coffee get cold often
Days and months go by
Yet the things they do never seem to get old

They take care of every sick person in the house
They teach, they preach,
They clean, they cook
Every task you can think of
They can all do in one swoop

They are super heroes
Disguised as moms
Heroines unnoticed
With powers usually taken for granted

These heroines will keep on giving love
Until their hair goes gray
And eyes grow weak
Give them a simple “thank you”
Their day will glow I assure you

10An excellent wife who can find?  She is far more precious than jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.- Proverbs 31:10

  1. Awww I can totally feel this right now. I just gave birth last week but now I’m already back working (part time work-at-home gig), homeschooling my son, chores and taking care of a newborn. So tiring but so totally worth it. 🙂
