Facebook Memories and Travels in Germany

Facebook‘s new feature, Facebook Memories, has its way of rooting all those photos from the past. Lately, Facebook has been reminding me that I was in Germany 3 years ago. Makes me want to travel.Β

So, here are some posts related to that travel in Germany three years ago, and another one five-6 years ago I think. Sorry for the pictures if they will look small on those old posts. (Transfer issues from Blogger to WordPress-to be resolved soon.)

This one was 5-6 years ago. That long?! =)

Sometimes, I want to turn off FB memories’ notification haha, because browsing old photos makes the memories sink in deeper. Anyway, one thing I’ve learned from looking at the past is to use them to make the future better and not worse. I just think of the blessings, as well as the lessons I’ve learned from them. =)

How about you? Has Facebook been reminding you of past events and happy memories lately? =)

  1. Hurrah, a post about Germany! πŸ™‚ Were you working/studying here in Germany before? How did you find the weather when you first arrived? I had such a shock because it was freezing cold, haha. Those are really great photos, by the way!

    1. We just stayed there for three weeks for my husband’s training. =)
I think I’ve experienced the transition of seasons there…haha which was great. It was sunny when I came, the end of fall..then it rained after, then it started to snow. =)
The winter was really too cold. I had to wear layers of clothes. (while there was one woman I saw wearing a mini skirt! haha ) =)
      Thanks! =)

      1. Ohh, okay. πŸ™‚ I’m excited to see the seasons change because for now I only see snow, haha. Same here! Lots of layers. πŸ˜€ Yeah! I couldn’t believe that some of them had their legs exposed while I was a bundled up marshmallow, haha. Love reading your blog, by the way. Please keep on writing! πŸ™‚
