When you have kids, introducing pens, colors, and other art supplies can bring excitement to them. Even I, get really excited to use these color and stamp by Crayola which I got from an Ashara Ashara store. Ashara means 10. It’s what we call the stores here in Jeddah where most items can be bought for 10 riyals below. 🙂
One end has the stamp, the other end is a regular marker pen.
The stamps have the following designs:
- Footprints (black)
- Smiley (purple)
- Thumbs up (brown)
- Kiss mark/ lips (red)
- Ant (green)
- Musical note (pink)
- Sun (orange)
- Star (yellow)
Total of eight stamps.
I think they’re really cute. 🙂
You can even use these for journaling or if you are into planners. Below, I used washi tape which I got from the same ashara store (I think the name is Dubai store) in Makaronah. I was surprised to see washi tapes there. Clearly, Jeddah is now getting updated when it comes to displaying the latest trends. Years ago, it would take a year (or years) before the international trending items came here. Like, the world was already over with the Titanic hype and here it was just starting. Way to go, Jeddah! 🙂
Above is the combination of star stamps, washi tapes and micron pen. I ‘m poor at centering text, which is very obvious in this one. 😌
Black and white washi tape and note stamp.
The footprints stamp is perfect for the “direct my steps” part. ☺️
These stamps are great for afternoon drawing and coloring time with kids. When kids need a down time after running and playing around the house, just put some sheets of paper, colors, and they’ll pick them up and would immediately know what to do.
🙂 By the way, these are some of the washi tapes I found in the ashara store, but I doubt if they still have these exact designs. Displayed items there changes almost every month (or weeks), especially for these type of craft materials.
If you are in Jeddah, you can buy these washi tapes from Jarir bookstore, but they have plain colors and few patterns to choose from. They also have stamps and colors available.
